Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using NHL Lineup Builder ("the app"). By using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using NHL Lineup Builder, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

NHL Lineup Builder is a free mobile application that allows users to create, customize, save, and share NHL hockey lineup images. The app provides player data, headshots, and team logos sourced from the publicly available NHL API.

3. User Accounts

You may use the app without creating an account. Optionally, you can sign in with Apple or Google to enable cloud sync of your lineups across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's servers or infrastructure
• Use the app to create content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
• Use automated tools to access the app or its data

5. Intellectual Property

The app's design, code, and original content are owned by NHL Lineup Builder. NHL team names, logos, player names, and images are the property of the National Hockey League and its teams. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NHL or any of its teams.

6. User-Generated Content

Lineups you create are your own. You retain ownership of the lineup images you generate and share. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process your lineup data for the purpose of providing the service (rendering, syncing, and exporting).

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Player data will always be accurate or up-to-date
• The app will be compatible with all devices

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NHL Lineup Builder and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to the app or other users.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
